Lithum batteries

Lithum batteries

Lithium-ion batteries use lithium as one of the components in their cathode (positive electrode) and a combination of other materials as the anode (negative electrode). During the charging process, lithium ions move from the cathode to the anode through an electrolyte solution, creating a chemical reaction. When electricity is needed (e.g., during the night or on cloudy days), the process reverses. The lithium ions move from the anode to the cathode, releasing electrical energy that can be used to power your home or connected devices.
